The Talbot Group is a private investment group that was formed in the early 1990’s and is 100% owned by Queensland businessman Ken Talbot.

Initially the major investment was in the coal industry but in recent times the group has become a significant investor in uranium, iron ore, energy and the mining services sector.
In addition to the mining industry the group has substantial investments in property and in several start up companies that are demonstrating significant growth.
As a private business the Talbot Group can adopt an innovative approach to investment. We have a broad scope when considering investment opportunities, with no boundaries placed on the segments we invest in or when determining values and acceptable returns.
